Este Blog é uma Eterna Homenagem ao meu Ídolo Musical de Infância, David Bruce Cassidy.

Quem estuda a Evolução do Rock, sabe reconhecer a importância de David e sua contínua contribuição à Música.

Nos Anos 70 ele chegou a possuir um Fã Clube Mundial, muito maior que o de Elvis Presley e Beatles juntos. Desde então ele é considerado o Maior Ídolo Teen do Rock.

Seu estrondoso sucesso criou a "Cassidy-Mania", que mais tarde irei abordar neste Blog.

A maioria das músicas de David falam de Amor. Então, ele pode ser considerado um  cantor de "Pop Love Rock".

David Cassidy iniciou sua carreira artística como ator. Seus primeiros momentos de destaque na TV, foram nos Seriados Bonanza e Marcus Welby.  Mas foi em Setembro de 1970, que David ganhou fama no  inesquecível "The Partridge Family".

Ou "Família Dó Ré Mi", como ficou conhecido este programa aqui no Brasil.  Seu personagem chamava-se Keith Partridge.

Cassidy entre outros triunfos artísticos, conseguiu transformar seus "15 minutos de fama" em magníficas 4 Décadas de Sucesso.
